De-Brine Your Mind, Part 5

In his article "How to Soak in Divine Brine," which appears in the March-April edition of Spirituality and Health, Kevin Anderson offers some wonderful quotes to combat the daily soaking in negativity that we receive on a daily basis.  Here are some final offerings:

Do you suffer from doubt?  Roll these quotes around in your mind for a while:
If you hear a voice that says you cannot paint, then by all means paint and the voice will be silenced.  (Vincent Van Gogh)
As long as we stand in our own way, everything seems to stand in our way.  (Ralph Waldo Emerson)
What if you sit smugly in your own beliefs?  Try these ideas to combat the illness of absolute certainty:
Doubt is not the opposite of faith, it is an element of faith.  (Paul Tillich)
The infinite transcends every particular content of faith.  (Moses Ben Jacob Cordovero)
I hope you have enjoyed these little gems of wisdom as much as I have.
